Porcelain

Porcelain tiles are manufactured from extremely pure clays and minerals that are shaped by dry pressed and then fired at very high temperatures (1250), the result is a fully vitrified tile with an extremely low level of water absorbtion it is harder, stronger and more durable than natural stone. In addition porcelain tiles are the most appropriate flooring for under floor heating.

 

Ceramic

Ceramic tiles are the most common tiles used today, they also come in a wide vareity of colours and sizes.

 

All natural stone products including Mosaics

Natural stone tiles are dug up from quarrys across the world which have been under ground for millions of years, they make very nice stone such as limestone, travertine, granite, and onyx etc. Natural stone tiles are very pourous so need to be polished with stain stop but.
Mosaics come in many variety of patterns and colours, glass and natural stone etc. These are mostly on a web backing so they are easy to stick to the wall or floor. These need much more planning and setting out as you dont want too many cuts exspecially if you are using glass.

 

Adhesives and grouts

We as a company prefer to use BAL adhesives and grouts. These products are the best on the market today aswell as offering a gaurentee for 25years. This is not the cheapest of products but however you can be rest assured its worth the extra. We can also use other adhesive and grouts to fit personal preferences.

 

Under floor heating

Under floor tile heating is a comfort and luxury radiant floor heating for tiles and laminate. The undertile heating element is 2mm thick so it will not affect floor levels, also there is no need to dig up concrete and makes no mess. This runs on electric of a 13 amp fuse spur, it is flexible so it can be used around fixtures and fittings around the house. It can then be used for bathrooms and kitchens etc. It also runs with a programable thermostat that regulates the floor temperature to your requirments with an on/off facility.
